A bit about Betty....

Well, to start with my name is Elizabeth Leigh Hornsey, I studied fashion at Huddersfield University, graduating in 2001, I have spent most of my career working for the UK high street, which in itself is very rewarding and I do still take on some freelance projects when something interesting comes along, but inevitably designing for someone else has its limitations, so last year I decided to go it alone with Call me Betty!

I have covered most products in my freelance career but have spent most of my time designing baby and childrenswear and ladies nightwear, but if you check out my c.v (attach cv link) you'll see I've covered all sorts over the years.
I also have other projects I'm working on that are not fashion related, I'm a very busy lady don't you know! I am a director of a company making and selling baby products, most notably a pregnancy and parenting journal, I had a baby recently as did my fellow director and it became apparent to us that there wasn't a product that offered what we were looking for, so we created one! you can take a look at the website: www.yourbumpandbeyond.co.uk to see the journal and other products offered.
